TerreDaVino; The Italian Cressperience
This week i transformed myself into (if not already) a ambassador of Koppert Cress at the famous TerreDaVino wine facility in Barolo Italy!
Terre da Vino is a share holding company in which the owners are 2,798 wine growers. They cultivate 5,096 hectares and are organized in 14 Wine Cooperatives, located in the classic area of production.
The production is made up of exclusively DOC and DOCG wines from Piedmont with a great attention to the autochthonal vine varieties..... I assume Koppert Cress is something we're all familiar with these days!

"Le stelle si incontrano a Barolo" which means "The Stars will meet in Barolo" was the name for the opening event collaborated between the Four Seasons Milano, Longino & Cardenal and TerraDaVino. Koppert Cress was invited to cook 3 courses to promote Cress in general in Italy.

Twenty one Creations where presented, from Spaghetti with tuna and Angus beef with truffle to the sweet version a the hamburger hill. With a tasting of 25 different wines it is quite an achievement to see the italian people still walking home!
After a 1300 km journey and a busy day cooking i was happy to see that everything fell into its place during the dinner.
Even with a language barrier we still had a fun day with the spanish and italian chefs! All dishes where very tasteful, but not all did meet my expectations of a Michelin star Italian Cuisine...
